Each month, the Woodford Halse History Society presents a talk on a topic of historical interest, usually related to the local area.
Their latest programme of talks covering September 2016 to May 2017 includes subjects ranging from The Great Central Railway (and its local impact) through to the story of the Mary Rose.
Meetings are open to members (£10 annual membership) and non-members (£2.50 admission).
