Lower Boddington – Road Closure

12th September to 2nd October

Logo for HS2As part of the HS2 work for the Banbury Road Overbridge near Lower Boddington, they will be building a new section of highway to realign Boddington Road. They are building the new road alongside the existing road, within our construction area. This means that for most of the construction period, the existing road will remain open to the public.

In preparation for this, we will be creating a temporary junction on Boddington Road. Once completed, the temporary junction will allow highway users to continue to use Boddington Road while HS2 contractors build the new sections of highway.

The construction of the temporary junction will take approximately 3 weeks during which Boddington Road will be closed. While this section of road is closed, HS2 will also be building a new entrance junction for a nearby farm.

Boddington Road will be fully closed, 24 hours a day, from Monday 12 September to Sunday 2 October with a signed diversion in place.
