Woodford Halse Bell Ringers are the ultimate heavy metal band! If you would like to see what bell ringing is all about, please come along any 2nd or 4th Thursday of the month (if we are there you’ll hear us) any time after 8.00 pm to just sit and watch or request to have a go.

Interested in gardens and/or gardening? Why not join us at the Garden Club? We meet on the first Monday of each month (March to December), 7.30pm at The Memorial Hall for interesting talks and social events, also summer visits to local and national gardens. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

The GCR was at the heart of the growth of Woodford from a small farming village to a major junction on the rail network. Meets monthly at Woodford Halse Social Club.

Military Veterans Group
Woodford Halse has an armed forces group for social get-togethers.
The group is very relaxed and is looking to hold a few social gatherings each year, culminating in the Parade on Remembrance Sunday.
